People have different views about finding warmth in a space. Is it the gracious smile at the reception desk? But then, a sparkling smile can turns out to be freezing bitter. I prefer the spontanous cascading giggles I shared with the receptionist at this charming hotel today. Not picture perfect but genuine, unique, clever. The comfort of a silent, attentive look letting me know I have been taken in consideration is also a good option.
It is the same with objects and materials. Sure wood can bring a nice sense of warmth but I like these example because they add a little extra layer of sensuality and narrative to woody presence.
