Appia is a mobile spa designed and developed by HGS. The project is born from the observation of new needs in well-being rituals. For a growing number of people, massage, body or face therapies are now part of a regular routine well integrated in daily life. Like a traveler’s trunk, Appia sets the necessary to offer a luxurious spa menu created to be performed in the comfort of a hotel room.The mobile spa Appia is also available with its full line of care products, developed entirely in Quebec.

THE CONTEXT

During their stay at the hotel, business travelers can easily integrate spa treatment in their busy agenda. The opportunity to receive in-room care provides maximum comfort and efficiency. Upon appointment, the therapist can come with the kart carrying all equipment to recreate a spa atmosphere in the room.

THE MOBILE SPA

Appia mobile spa is based on a mobile trunk incorporating a massage table, but also all care and ambience equipment, a product line and a spa boutique.The ergonomics of the cart allows smooth movement in the corridors and elevators and unfolds elegantly into the room.

Appia skin care have been developed in Quebec with local ingredients known for their benefial properties such as: wild field honey, maple sugar, apple cider, white spruce. Each product becomes a beautiful souvenir surprising and original.
